7. WIRING
OUTDOOR UNIT WIRING
ATTENTION
Before performing any electrical or wiring work, turn off the main power to the system.
1. Prepare the cable for connection
a. You must first choose the correct cable size before preparing it for connection.
Be sure to use H07RN-F cables.

b. Using a wire stripper, remove the rubber coating from both ends of the signal cable to
expose about 15 cm (5.9") of the inner shielding.
c. Strip the insulation from the ends of the wires.
d. Using a crimping tool, crimp the U-connectors onto the ends of the cables
NOTE: When connecting the wires, strictly follow the wiring diagram (located inside the electrical box cover).
2. Remove the electrical box cover from the outdoor unit. If there is no cover on the outdoor unit, undo
the maintenance plate bolts and remove the protection plate. (Refer to Img. 7.1).
