8.3. Important safety precautions
The device must be controlled by the filter/pump, the switch on the unit must always be in the
The device must operate without stopping under hydraulic load, except in the case of
prolonged stoppage of water flow (risk of overheating and deposits on the quartz sleeves).
It is preferable to limit the number of times the lamp is switched off/on to maximise its life
span.
If the reactor shuts down, wait 10 minutes for the bulbs to cool down to conserve their service
life.
The lamp indicator is a lamp operation LED. If the bulb has been operating for more than 13,000
hours, it should be replaced even if the lamp LED is lit.
8.4. Important precautions for replacement of the cell
When reassembling the electrolytic cell, it is strongly recommended that the O-ring be fitted to the electrolytic cell
support rather than inserting the O-ring into the reactor opening before inserting the electrolytic cell, otherwise this could
lead to a leakage.
It is also important that the electrolytic cell connections are positioned vertically.
The service life of the electrolytic cell is very closely related to observance of the instructions
and information contained in this manual.
The replacement of a cell at the end of its life with a compatible cell may lead to a decrease
in production and reduce the life of the equipment. It is therefore strongly recommended to use
only an original manufacturer cell.
Damage due to the use of a compatible cell voids the contractual warranty.
The electrode connections
should be vertically aligned
and tightened firmly.
