6.6.5.6 Adverse events
Adverse event
Cable unplugged on Propex IQ
Locator and / or on the X-Smart IQ
Handpiece.
®
Bluetooth connection lost on X-Smart IQ
Handpiece while the motor is running.
®
Bluetooth connection lost on X-Smart IQ
Handpiece while the motor is not running (e.g.
settings are about to be transmitted).
Connection lost in combined mode
®
(Propex IQ Apex Locator with X-Smart IQ
Handpiece) and Apical Reverse function set to
ON.

Consequence
®
X-Smart IQ Handpiece will automatically
rotate in reverse mode.
For 5 minutes the motor will run, start or
stop normally while retaining Apical
Reverse settings. After 5 minutes the
motor will be locked.
The user has to reconnect the device to
®
Endo IQ App or switch to unconnected
mode (therefore deactivate Bluetooth
the device). In the latter case, Apical
Reverse settings will be turned off.
®
X-Smart IQ Handpiece is locked.
The user has to reconnect the device to
®
the Endo IQ App.
For 5 minutes after the disconnection, X-
®
Smart IQ Handpiece will run. After 5
minutes the motor will be locked.
During these 5 minutes, as long as there
is a cable connection between the
devices, the Propex IQ
be detected by X-Smart IQ
and will run correctly.
