Operating the safety cabinet
The safety cabinet must only be operated by

1.2
Intended use
The safety cabinet is suitable for the storage of
flammable liquids in closed containers at the work-
place (in work rooms) in compliance with national
rules and regulations.

information in these operating instructions.

2. Safety instructions
2.1
Safety precautions
Inappropriate use or installation of this product may
result in serious injury or death.
Read and follow all warnings and precautions
for safe use.
Servicing, maintenance and inspections must
be carried out by qualified personnel.
2.2
Type plate
A type plate containing the essential product data
is attached in a clearly visible position on the front
side of the safety cabinet. This type plate must not
be removed.
2.3
Disclaimer
Any use beyond the intended use constitutes mis-
use. CEMO is not liable for any damage resulting
from misuse.
CEMO has no influence over the liquids used by
the operator. The user must check that the cabinet
is suitable for the intended application.
CEMO is not liable for damage of any kind caused
by the goods stored within it.
2.4
General safety instructions
Follow the safety instructions in these operating
instructions in order to reduce risks to health and
avoid hazardous situations. Not using the device
as intended in accordance with these operating
instructions poses the risk of accidents and inad-
equate fire protection.
Carry out a risk assessment:
• Select a practical location to install the cabinet
(see section 6).
• Only store flammable liquids with a hazard as-
sessment.
• Lock the cabinet to prevent unauthorised access.
Always keep the doors closed. Always keep the
opening area of the doors clear.
The doors are equipped with a self-closing door
locking system. This is triggered at a temperature
from 40°C – 50°C. The closing force, closing speed
and door lock must only be changed by an author-
ised service technician!
