7. Commissioning
Before initial commissioning, the safety cabinet
must be inspected for any damage or defects.
Important!
Refilling or filling operations (active stor-
age of hazardous substances) must only
be carried out with an additional earthed
interior (see "Active storage" accessories
package).
7.1
Installing attachments
7.1.1
Ventilation nozzles
The two ventilation nozzles must be attached
to the ceiling of the cabinet using the screws
provided. The ventilation nozzles are components
relevant for fire protection and close the exhaust
and supply air openings in the event of a fire at a
temperature of 70°C (±10°C).
Important!
Operation without the ventilation nozzles
screwed on is not permitted!

Cable grommet (optional)
For installation of the cable grommet, see the
instructions in the accessories package.
7.1.3
Fans (optional)
For installation of the fans, see the instructions in
the accessories package.

7.2
Aligning the cabinet
To ensure proper use, the cabinet must be placed
flat/horizontal.

The cabinet can be levelled by adjusting the base
height adjusters on the bottom of the cabinet using
a size 5 Allen key. A maximum of three base height
adjusters should be adjusted for this purpose. The
maximum adjustment height is 10 mm.
Then check the alignment of the cabinet doors. If
necessary, correct using the base height adjusters.
Finally, mount the base cover on the cabinet.

and installation conditions (see operator's risk as-
sessment).
