BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND USE OF THE VIBRATORS
Section 0 – DESCRIPTION
NVE motorvibrators were designed and manufactured in compliance with the following directives and standards:
Directive 2014/34/EU according to category 3D and Directive 2006/42 EC
The general characteristics of the MVE series motorvibrators are listed below:
ū Insulation class F
ū Tropicalisation as standard
ū Protection IP 66.
ū Working temperature: N series from –20°C to + 40°C
Section 1 - GENERAL STANDARDS
Read these instructions carefully before using the vibrator and keep this manual for future reference.
On receiving the product, check that:
ū The packaging has not deteriorated to the point the product is damaged.
ū There is no damage outside the product.
ū The supply corresponds to the order specifications; any non-conformities and/or external damage found should be
immediately notified in detail to the carriers and the manufacturer and/or dealer.
Section 1.1 – IDENTIFICATION
The model of motorvibrator (A) and other data are stamped on the specific identification plate.(Fig.1)
These data must always be stated for any requests for spare parts and support intervention.
Section 1.2 – INTENDED USE
ATTENTION: it is forbidden to operate the motorvibrators in this manual before the machine in which they are
incorporated is declared compliant with the provisions of Directive 2006/42/EC.
The electrical motorvibrator described in this manual was designed and tested for use in zones classified as potentially
explosive, such as:
Zone 22 according to the standards IEC 60079-10-2, in compliance with the Directive ATEX 2014/34/EU.
IMPORTANT: This range of electrical motorvibrators was designed to work with dust that during treatment does not
release gas considered explosive.
COMPLY WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PLATE: D = dust (group IIIC)
To work in safe conditions, check that:
The dust processed has an ignition temperature over 75K of the surface temperature indicated on the motorvibrator
plate (IEC 60079-10-2).
(The maximum temperatures indicated in this manual and in the plate of the motorvibrators were calculated without
considering the possible presence of dust layers deposited on the surfaces).
Its use for purposes other than those planned and not complying with the description in this booklet,
other than being considered inappropriate and forbidden, relieves the manufacturer of any direct and/
or indirect liability.
OTHER THAN THE AFOREMENTIONED, THE STANDARDS IN FORCE IN THE COUNTRY OF OPERATION MUST BE
COMPLIED WITH.
