Always use approved personal protective equipment
when you operate the product. Personal protective
equipment cannot fully prevent injury but it
decreases the degree of injury if an accident does
occur. Let your dealer help you select the correct
personal protective equipment.
To connect the hydraulic hoses
WARNING:
couplings can be pressurized after you have
stopped the product.

1. Install the product on the demolition robot. Refer to
the operator's manual of the demolition robot.
2. Connect the hydraulic couplings on the product
to the hydraulic coupling on the demolition robot
(A). You can hear a click when the couplings are
connected.

Regularly do a check of the condition of the personal
protective equipment.
•
Use an approved protective helmet.
•
Use approved hearing protection.
•
Use approved respiratory protection.
•
Use approved eye protection with side protection.
•
Use protective gloves.
•
Use boots with steel toe-cap and non-slip sole.
•
Use approved work clothing or equivalent close-
fitting clothing that has long sleeves and long legs.
Fire extinguisher
•
Keep a fire extinguisher near during operation.
•
Use a powder fire extinguisher of "ABE" class or a
carbon dioxide fire extinguisher of "BE" type.
3. Turn the outer sleeve on the female coupling to
lock the hoses together (B). Make sure that the slot
moves away from the ball.
4. Start the demolition robot. Refer to the operator's
manual for the demolition robot.
5. Operate the remote control of the demolition robot
to open and close the jaws 5–6 times. Refer to the
operator's manual of the demolition robot.
6. Stop the demolition robot. Refer to the operator's
manual for the demolition robot.
7. Do a check of the couplings to see if there is
leakage.
To disconnect the hydraulic hoses
WARNING:

1. Open the jaws. Stop when the jaws are almost at the
widest position. Refer to the operator's manual of the
demolition robot.
Note:
If you open the jaws to the widest
position, the hydraulic hoses do not disconnect
easily because of the pressure in the hydraulic
cylinders.
2. Stop the demolition robot. Refer to the operator's
manual for the demolition robot.
3. Turn the outer sleeve on the female coupling to
disconnect the couplings.
4. Connect the hydraulic hoses on the product to
prevent dirt to enter the couplings.
