 Always keep the device clean. Use a brush or cloth for cleaning, but do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents.
 After mowing, remove any plant remains that have become stuck to the wheels, ventilation opening,
ejector opening and blade area using a piece of wood or plastic. Do not use any hard or sharp objects
as these could damage the device.
 Check the device before each use for obvious defects such as loose, worn or damaged parts. Ensure
that all nuts, bolts and screws are firmly in place.
 Check the covers and protective devices for damage and correct fit. Replace these if necessary.
REPLACING BLADES
If the blade is blunt, it can be re-sharpened by a specialist company. If the blade is damaged or unbalanced,
it must be replaced.
1) Turn the machine over.
2) Use firm gloves and keep hold of the blade (20). Use a spanner to turn the blade bolt (21)
counter-clockwise from the motor spindle (22).
3) Reassemble the new blade (20) in reverse order. Make sure that the blade(20) is positioned correctly
and that the blade bolt (21) is tightened.
