BASIC OPERATION
To play a compact disc
Operations indicated by the [
] mark are performed with
the remote control unit.
1 Press POWER to turn on the power to the player.
2 Press OPEN/CLOSE and load a disc.
e Place the disc with the label surface facing DOWN.
3 Press » to start playback.
To pause playback temporarily:
Press tl. The M indicator lights and playback is paused at that point.
Pressing tl again or > resumes playback from the position where
pause mode was entered.
To stop playback:
Press Ш.
To stop playback and take out the disc:
Press OPEN/CLOSE and remove the disc.
Press OPEN/CLOSE
again to close the disc tray and then press POWER to turn off the
power.

Les fonctionnements indiqués par la marque iO ] s'effectuent
par la télécommande.
1 Presser POWER pour fournir l'alimentation au lecteur.
2 Presser OPEN/CLOSE et charger un disque.
e Placer le disque avec l'étiquette tournée VERS LE BAS.
3 Presser > pour commencer la lecture.
Pour arrêter la lecture momentanément:
Presser M. L'indicateur II s'allume et la lecture est arrêtée à ce
point. Presser И à nouveau ou » pour reprendre la lecture à partir
de la position où le mode de pause a été engagé.
Pour arrêter la lecture:
Presser E.
Pour arrêter la lecture et retirer le disque:
Presser OPEN/CLOSE et retirer le disque.
Presser à nouveau
OPEN/CLOSE pour fermer le tiroir de disque puis presser POWER
pour couper l'alimentation.
Pour étendre l'affichage
DISP OFF
Press DISPLAY OFF. All the indicators other than DISP OFF go off.
The display circuit which may interfere the sound quality does not
function.
e When the control button is pressed, the corresponding indicator
lights for about a few seconds. Also, the TIME button is pressed,
the display shows the corresponding time.

In stop mode or pause mode, the display remains lit even when
DISPLAY OFF is pressed.
e
During peak search, the display off function cannot be carried out
even when the DISP OFF indicator lights.

Appuyer sur la touche DISPLAY OFF. Toutes les indications s'effacent
et sont remplacées par l'indicateur DISP OFF. Le circuit de l'affichage
ne fonctionne pas et ne risque pas de perturber le son.

Lorsqu'on appuie sur une touche de commande,
la mention
correspondante apparaît å l'affichage pendant quelques secondes.
Pour lire l'heure, appuyer sur la touche TIME.

En mode d'arrêt ou en mode de pause, l'affichage reste allumé
même si on appuie sur la touche DISPLAY OFF.

Pendant la recherche du niveau crête, la fonction d'extinction de
l'affichage estinopérante même sil'indicateur
DISP OFF s'allume.
