Contact with the cutting blade can lead
to injuries.
• Do not use the device near
flammable liquids or gases. In
the event of a short circuit there is a risk
of fire and explosion.
• Always make sure that the device is
properly in one of the specified work-
ing positions before starting the device.
• The blades must be checked
regularly for wear and re-
ground. Blunt blades overload the
device. Any damage that results is not
covered by the warranty.
• Switch off the device and remove the
battery (9). Make sure that all moving
parts have come to a complete stop
• when leaving the device
• before removing obstructions or
loosening blockages
• before checking the device, clean-
ing it or performing maintenance
work on it
• If the cutting unit touches a foreign ob-
ject or the device starts to vibrate ab-
normally, an immediate inspection is re-
quired:
• examine for loose parts and tighten

• search for signs of damage

Residual risks
There will always be residual risks even
if you operate this power tool according
to the instructions. The following hazards
may occur in connection with the type and
design of this power tool:
• Eye damage if no suitable eye protec-
tion is worn.
• Hearing damage if suitable ear protec-
tion is not worn.
• Health injuries resulting from the effect
of hand/arm vibration in the event that
the tool is used over a longer period
of time or is not used and maintained
