6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.

Return appliance to the manufacturer for examination, repair or
electrical or mechanical adjustment. All servicing, other than cleaning,

14. DO NOT close the dispense outlet when water is flowing.
15. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing
hot liquids.
16. DO NOT use Kettle without the Lid in place.
17. Scalding may occur if the Lid is opened while the Kettle is hot.
18. Always ensure that the Drip Tray is in position and a mug is on the Drip
Tray when Water Dispensing Port is open. Keep hands away from Water
Dispensing Port when Water Dispensing Port is open.
19. Always close the Water Dispensing Port before removing the kettle from
the Power Base. To avoid risk of scalding from remaining water in the
dispensing spout after one cup boiling.
