13.3.5. GOTO (direct search)
You can use the G O T O button to navigate directly to a
chapter, track or time. Press G O T O and use the arrow
buttons to select the information that you wish
to change (e.g. track, time). Use the number buttons to
make the desired entry and press O K . Playback is then
resumed from the desired point.
13.3.6. D.DISP (time display)
During playback, you can call up various pieces of infor-
mation (e.g. current play time, track/chapter number etc.)
about the current media by pressing the D . D I S P button
several times.
13.3.7. REPEAT
Press the yellow [R E P E A T ] button during playback. Each
time the button is pressed, the section to be repeated is
shown (e.g. track, chapter etc.). The different repeat op-
tions vary depending on the media. The entry disappears
after a couple of seconds.
13.3.8. PROGRAM (track playing order)
You can use the programming function to play up to 16
chapters (DVD) or tracks (audio) in a sequence defined by
you.
Programming is not possible for MP3 media.
Programme the sequence as follows:
Press the red P R O G R A M button. A table showing
the available programme positions appears on the
screen.
Use the number buttons on the remote control to en-
ter the track you want in programme position 1. In the
case of single-digit numbers, please enter a preceding
0.
In the case of DVDs, please also enter the desired
chapter at this point.
Use the arrow buttons to select the next pro-
gramme position and select the next track in the same
way.
You can now enter subsequent programme positions in
the same way, as required.
Processing a list
As soon as you have finished programming, use the
arrow buttons to move the cursor to PLAY and press
O K . The programmed list starts to play. You can dis-
play the list again using the red P R O G R A M button.
During playback, press S T O P twice to return to
normal playback mode. To delete the list, press P R O
G R A M , select the option CLEAR underneath and
press OK
13.3.9. A-B (A-B repeat)
You can use A-B repeat to define the start and end of a re-
quired scene and repeat it:
Press the blue A B button to specify the start point A
for repeating a specific section.
Press the blue A B button again to define the end
point B. The section between points A and B is then
repeated on a loop.
Press the A B button a third time to disable the A-B
repeat function

13.3.10. LANG (audio sett ing (language))
Press L A N G repeatedly to select a different audio
setting that is available on the DVD (for example,
2-channel sound or 5.1-channel sound) or the spoken
language. The setting is applied immediately and does
not need to be confirmed.
Please note that this function is not implemen-
ted on some DVDs.
13.3.11. Calling up DVD menus
To call up the menus stored on the DVD, you use the T I
T L E and D . M E N U buttons.
In general, the D . M E N U button calls up the main menu,
while the T I T L E button calls up the title menu. You navi-
gate through the items in the DVD menus using the arrow
keys. Confirm each selection by pressing O K .
Please note that the precise functions availab-
le in each menu depend on the DVD.
13.4. Navigating MP3 and JPEG data
media
The music tracks and images on MP3 and JPEG data media
may be organised into folders just like on other data me-
dia.
Insert the data medium containing the MP3 or JPEG
files into the player. A menu appears on the screen
showing the top-level directory structure.
If the data medium contains folders, they will be listed
one beneath the other.
An MP3 track is displayed with an MP3 symbol.
The active folder or file is highlighted in orange. The
total number of tracks in the folder is given in the top
line.
Use the arrow buttons to go to one of the folders
and confirm by pressing O K .
Other sub-folders may also be opened if present. In
this case, you can return to the higher-level menu us-
ing the left arrow button or the uppermost menu
option.
To listen to a track or view an image, select it and con-
firm by pressing (P L AY ) or O K .
13.4.1. JPEG images
With JPEG images you will see a preview of the image on
the right-hand side of the menu.
Select an image and confirm with O K to view the
larger image. All of the images within the active folder
will be displayed in succession after the selected im-
age ("slide show").
If you click the arrow buttons during playback,
you will rotate the image.
Please note that it may not be possible to display ex-
tremely large images.
13.5. SETUP menu in DVD mode
Press the D . S E T U P button in DVD mode. The main
page of the SETUP menu appears on the screen.
