INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before each use, wash your hands thoroughly and clean the NASAL DOUCHE and acces-
sories as described in the section Hygienic preparation.
During application, it is recommended to adequately protect oneself from any dripping.
1. Insert the atomiser (3) into the spray chamber (4.1).
2. Place the solution (max. 10 ml) in the spray chamber (4.1)(Fig. A).
3. Attach the separator (2), ensuring that the arrow on the douche body is aligned with the
arrow on the separator (fig. B). After that, insert the age-specific adapter, or the one most
suitable for the size of your nostrils (1A/1B/1C).
4. Connect the Nasal Douche to the compressor unit or the central compressed air system
using the tube (7 not supplied) and the connector (6).
5. Start up the nasal douche by switching on the compressor unit or supplying it with com-
pressed air.
6. Place the adapter hole against one nostril.
7. During the treatment, it is preferable to close with one finger the other nostril where the
NASAL DOUCHE is not applied.
8. Operate the NASAL DOUCHE by holding down the dispensing button (5) during inhala-
tion and release it before exhaling; during this phase, to help expel mucus, blow gently
through the treated nostril directly into the NASAL DOUCHE.
9. Repeat steps 6. to 8. for the other nostril as well, trying to distribute the solution evenly
between the two nostrils.
10. In the case of children or impaired persons, and however unable to co-ordinate the various
steps in 8., it is recommended to carry out the application alternating between the two
nostrils every 20 seconds approximately, with the necessary pauses to expel the mucus.
