Operating Instructions SIROEndo Pocket
Visual and acoustic check of the file movement in the apical area:
When the file tip approaches the apex,
a recurrent acoustic signal sounds.
If the file tip continues to approach the
apex, the frequency of the recurrent
acoustic signal changes accordingly.
The tone becomes faster and higher.
When the last bar has been reached, the
apex also has been reached; an "A" then
appears next to the root canal symbol
and a continuous tone sounds.
If the file tip has moved past the apex
(foramen apicale), this will be indicated
by the flashing " – 1" instead of the "A"
next to the root canal symbol. In this case
a short, intermittent acoustic tone
sounds.
