Initial Assembly
CAUTION:
injury and equipment damage, use only
manufacturer-approved smoke producing fluid in
the tester.
7. Fill the tester with TWO bottles of UltraTraceUV™
Smoke Producing Fluid (Part No. 504956). See
Figure 3.
A. Remove the refill plug located on the side of the
tester.
B. Cut the end off the plastic tip on top of each
UltraTraceUV Fluid bottle.
C. With the Leak Detector in an upright position,
empty the contents of TWO UltraTraceUV Fluid
bottles (32 oz. total) into the refill port.
D. Apply thread sealant to the refill plug threads, and
use an Allen wrench to secure the plug back into
the tester.
E. Record your name and the date of the fluid

manual.
8. Connect the nitrogen/smoke hose to the short hose
on the tester. Connection should be finger tight.
9. Wrap the power cable, nitrogen/smoke hose, and
remote switch cable around their respective storage
brackets on the tester.
10. Install the supply hose from the nitrogen tank regulator onto the nitrogen inlet on the side of the
tester. See Figure 4. (This hose was removed from the original unit in Step 3.)

Note: A 90
adapter is included for those dealers who have a straight pressure regulator
hose and wish to streamline the nitrogen connection at the side of the tester.
