What should I do with the
Fixscreen fabric if it is
raining?
The screens are resistant to water, so
they can remain rolled out during rain.
We recommend to not roll up the screen
fabric wet. This prevents the wet screen
fabric from ventilating, which can cause
stains. A wet screen fabric stretches
slightly and won't roll up nicely. The
screen fabric is mould and fungus free
due to all kinds of additives to the screen
fabric. However, anything that falls on to
the screen fabric and stays there can rot
and cause mould (pollen, bird droppings,
leaves, etc.). It is therefore recommended
to roll out the wet screen fabric as soon
as possible to allow it to dry.
After how much time do you have maximum heat from the heat-beam?
Because we work with short wave
system, you have instant maximum
heat radiance of the heat-beam.
Short wave radiation is immediately
perceptible and warms the objects
and not the space.

What is the temperature difference reached with the heat beam?

mended (e.g. glass wall, Fixscreens, etc.). The
following factors also influence the temperature;
ambient temperature, distance from the thermal
comfort.
The position of the heater is also important. If this
is opposite a fixed wall, you can enjoy the heat
reflection.
Can I use a barbecue under my terrace covering?
Long wave infra-red heaters have a
longer warm-up time than the short
wave heaters. They need space to
create heat. Depending on the ambient
temperature, the size of the covering,
closed or not, it may take a certain

Bear in mind that a barbecue with
coal will produce soot. If you place it
under your covering, make sure that
the tilting blades are not completely
closed. This way, the room underne-
ath can ventilate better. The blades
can become filthy and dirty due to
the smoke, and you will have to clean
them afterwards. Please ensure that
the barbecue and definitely the flames
stay at least 1 m from the screens or
other walls of the covering, it could
otherwise permanently damage the
paint or screen fabric.
