6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the D750 and the D650
Only use a soft cloth and neutral detergents to clean
the housing and display of the D750 and the D650. Do
not use abrasive cleaning agents and coarse workshop
cloths!
6.2 Maintenance
In the DDC Customer service tab, various tests can be
performed for the D650. Some of these tests can only
be performed by customer service.
6.3 Storage battery replacement
WARNING - Risk of explosion on charging
battery!
Risk of explosion and hence burns and injury
when charging the battery improperly!

Only use the storage battery specified for
the D750.
¶
Only use the power supply unit specified
for the D750.
¶
Heed the notes on disposal.
¶
Storage battery must not be heated,
burnt, short-circuited, mechanically dam-
aged and charged with excessively high
currents or reverse polarity!

Suitable extinguishing agents: water, CO
sand.
1. Switch off the D750.
2. Loosen the storage battery screws on the back of
the D750 (see Fig. 3, item 3).
3. Remove the storage battery.
4. Insert the new storage battery in the storage-battery
compartment and secure by means of the two
screws on the storage battery (see Fig. 3, item 3).
5. Switch on the D750.

The storage battery charge indicator can be called
up via the icon.

The storage battery charge indicator shows the current
battery charge on a scale of 0 to 100 %.

It is advisable to charge the battery for at least three
hours before running the D750 off the battery.

6.4 Recovery process Win 7

All data and applications on the hard disk will be
erased during the recovery process!
1. Connect the D750 to the power supply unit.
2. Insert the SD memory card (recovery) in the memo-
ry card slot of the D750(Fig. 2, item 4).
3. Connect USB keyboard.
4. Switch on the D750.
5. Press any key right after the switch-on.
 The message "
recover your Computer?
few seconds.
6. Confirm message with <Yes>.
 Message "
WARNING! ALL DATA ON HARD
DISK DRIVE C: WILL BE LOST. Please
be patient while recovery process is
running.
" is displayed.
7. Confirm message with <Yes>.
 D750 recovery is started – duration approx.
20 minutes.
 Message " Please remove the recovery
media from the device and click "OK"
to reboot the computer
8. Remove the SD memory card.
9. Confirm the message with <OK>.
 Windows is re-started.
,  Virtual keyboard is displayed.

10. Close virtual keyboard.
11. Choose the language of the Windows operating sys-
tem via the language selection menu.
12. Confirm with <Yes>.
 Message " To finish the language configu-
ration the user will be logged out!

13. Confirm the message with <OK>.
14. Windows is re-started.

This completes the recovery process.
