Connect the electrodes on the test handles
(A) and (B) to the installation to be tested.
Hold onto test electrodes (A) and (B).
By connecting the test electrodes (1) to an
electricity conductor circuit, the LED (8) will
light up.
6.1. Testing continuity and reverse direc-
tion on semi-conductors.
The test depending on polarity must not be
carried out on active equipment.
The necessary voltage for the test is supplied
by the voltage power source integrated into
the test handle (A). Test handle (A) is the
positive pole. Testing is possible within the
scale of 0 to 1 MΩ.
Connect the electrodes on the test handles
(A) and (B) to the installation to be tested.
Hold onto test electrodes (A) and (B).
By connecting the test electrodes (1) to an
electricity conductor circuit, the LED (8) will
light up if the circuit is closed. In the event of
reverse direction, no indication will be given.
7. Testing the earth leak circuit breaker.
The voltage tester can only be used within the
nominal voltage scale from 12 to 690 V.
Never connect the voltage tester to voltage for
more than thirty seconds (Maximum connec-
tion period allowed = 30 s.).
Connect the electrodes (1) on test handles
(A) and (B) to the active line and the earth line
of the power supply controlled by the earth
leak circuit breaker to be tested.
