7. Maintenance and inspection
7.1 Safety measures

Who can carry out maintenance and inspection work?
» Normal maintenance work may be carried out by trained operating personnel.

agency with respect to the ADR approval.

7.4 Explanations regarding recurring
tests and inspections
Please note that the transport approval for all com-
bination IBCs with a plastic inner tank for diesel is
limited to 5 years. After this period, the inner tank
for diesel must be renewed. We offer you this tank
replacement service incl. test certificate in accord-
ance with the ADR.
Action
Remove adhering dirt and diesel fuel.
Visual check for damage
Check hoses for cracks and porosity, check valves for leaks (replace defec-
tive parts).
Lubricate hinges and lock with a few drops of universal oil.
Visual and functional check as described in the LS-03 leakage probe oper-
ating instructions.
Inspection according to ADR 6.5.4.4.1 b) and 6.5.4.4.2
- Documentation in the test report (see section 10)

the filling station must undergo inspection to the
satisfaction of the responsible authority at intervals

the external condition and proper functionality of
the operating equipment.
