6.3. Connection
Two duplex cables
of different lengths are fitted in the headlight
4
dynamo (shorten if necessary). Connect the short cable (with faston connectors) to the rear light. Use the
existing cable on the bike for this purpose. If the rear light cable is not used, the faston connectors should be
insulated to prevent possible malfunctions.
NOTICE
Always ensure correct polarity.
Black wire = power (+), black and white wire = earth (-).
NOTICE
Never cut off cables on the headlight
exclusively suited for use on hub dynamos and NOT on sidewall dynamos.
7. Operation
Pressing the button on the back of the headlight
7.1. Standlight (only Briq-S T Senso Plus)
The standlight function is always available, completely maintenance-free and operates without standard
or rechargeable batteries.
How it works: While cycling, a small amount of the energy supplied by the dynamo is stored in a
capacitor. After approx. 3 minutes of cycling, the capacitor is fully charged. When stationary, this stored
energy supplies the headlight LED, which remains illuminated.

. Connect the long cable to the hub

completely. The Briq-S T Senso Plus headlight

switches it ON or OFF.
7.2. SENSO night mode/day mode (only Briq-S T Senso Plus)
When switched on, the headlight is always in the SENSO mode. (The prerequisite for the
SENSO mode to function properly is a constantly running hub dynamo). Even if the headlight
is switched off during the ride, it is switched on again in the SENSO mode when you continue
cycling after an extended stop.
In bright light, the headlight operates in the day mode, Giving less power to the LED respon-
sible for the road/track beam pattern. Additional day ride LEDs light up at full brightness
is
providing maximum visibility for oncoming traffic! At dusk and in the dark, the headlight
1
automatically switches to the night mode. The headlight provides more energy for the road/
track beam pattern. The additional daytime running LEDs are dimmed but still clearly visible
to ensure maximum visibility on the road.
The headlight's light/dark sensor has a switchover delay of approx. 8 seconds from night
mode to day mode, providing additional safety. As a result, the mode does not briefly switch
to daytime light due to the headlights of passing cars, and provides greater safety thanks to
constant illumination of the road.
