Caution: Traction and starter cables must always be positioned on top of the
cross bar of the push handle. This provides free movement of the cables on
top of the lower section of the push handle, when the handle is folded.
Incorrect mounting of these cables could lead to damaging and/or straining
them, resulting in a malfunction of the machine. In this case the guaranty is
void.
10.2
Assemble the collection bag (Fig. 4+5)
Fasten the upper cover and the lower cover together. Note: make sure that each buckle is fully
buckled.
Attach the collection bag to the mower
1. Lift the back cover by hand, and then buckle the grass box up.
2. After making sure that the grass box is buckled, loosen the rear cover.

OPERATION
11.1
Before starting
This lawn mower is shipped WITHOUT OIL OR GASOLINE in the engine
11.1.1 Add oil (Fig. 6)
Before each subsequent use the oil level must be check and if necessary topped up with 500
ml SAE30 engine oil.
CAUTION: DO NOT overfill engine with oil, or it will smoke heavily from the
muffler on start-up.

Be sure lawnmower is level.
▪
Remove oil dipstick from oil fill spout.
▪
Wipe the oil dipstick clean; refit and tighten the oil tank cap (6) and then remove it again.
The oil level must be within the marking and should be clear with gold colour.

Refill if the oil level is too low.
IMPORTANT:

Check oil level before each use. Add oil if needed. Fill to full line on dipstick.

Change the oil after every 25 hours of operation or each season. You may need to change
the oil more often under dusty, dirty conditions.
11.1.2 Add gasoline (Fig. 7)
WARNING: Never fill fuel tank indoors, with engine running or until the
engine has been allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes after running.
Clean the area around the petrol filler cap before removing the cap. Remove
the warning tag, check the fuel level.

Fill fuel tank to base of tank filler neck. Use fresh, clean, regular unleaded gasoline.
▪
Do not overfill.
▪
Do not mix oil with gasoline.
▪
To assure fuel freshness, only purchase fuel in quantities that can be used within 30 days.
