Charging Up the Battery
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not charge up on a computer
because the computer might be
damaged by the high charging current.
Operating Element
If the operating element (2) cannot be
switched on, the battery is too weak and
needs to be charged.
To connect the device to the plug socket,
a USB mains adapter (5 V and ≥1 A; not
supplied with the device) is required.
1. First plug a connector of the USB
cable (3) into the Micro-USB socket
of an operating element and then
connect to a power source with USB
interface (preferably via a USB mains
adapter to the plug socket).
The charging process begins and the
charge control lamp on the operating
element lights up red.
2. As soon as the charge control lamp
goes out, the battery is charged.
Disconnect the USB cable from the
power source and then from the USB
socket.
Safety Devices
The operating element (2) has two built-in
safety functions:
The operating element automatically
switches off after 10 seconds if no
contact is established between the
skin and silicon electrode.
The operating element automatically
switches off after 15 minutes of use.
