Visual indications and alarms
The eDOC is equipped with a segment display to read
the Hydrogen ppm and RH% and several LEDs icons that
allow you to evaluate at a glance the current state of the
product and to determine if hydrogen or moisture levels
are in spec. These indicators are also available remotely
through the web interface (see the document: "eDOC web
interface" Manual Instruction).

In case of WARNING or ALARM
Your company may already have a standard policy in place
for dealing with hydrogen or moisture alarms.
In addition to this, for a WARNING, COMEM recommends
scheduling an off-line DGA to confirm the readings and
obtain the levels of other dissolved gases.
For an ALARM, COMEM recommends performing an
off-line DGA as soon as possible. Based on the result of
the off-line DGA, a diagnosis and maintenance recom-
mendation can be formulated (contact COMEM service,
customerservice@it.comem.com)
Post-installation check list
• Make sure that the system date was set properly using
the eDOC web interface.
• Make sure that the thermal pump is enabled (see
"Commissioning chapter" on page 11).
• Make sure that the hydrogen and moisture WARNING
and ALARM limits have been configured properly for
your application.
• Perform a visual inspection of the installation. Check for
oil leaks.
• Verify that cable glands are properly tightened and
secured.
• Make sure that the eDOC is appropriately grounded.
• Was PTFE applied on the 1.5 NPT fitting, as per
"Preparing for installation" chapter on page 8
