WARNINGS
•
Do not apply stimulation in the presence of electronic monitoring
equipment (e.g., cardiac monitors, ECG alarms), which may not
DE
operate properly when the electrical stimulation device is in use.
•
Do not apply stimulation when in the bath or shower.
•
Do not apply stimulation while sleeping.
EN
•
Do not use the device on children, if it has not been evaluated for pediatric
use.
•
Consult with your physician before using this device, because the
FR
device may cause lethal rhythm disturbances to the heart in susceptible
individuals.
•
Apply stimulation only to normal, intact, clean, healthy skin.
IT
•
In the application you need to be careful when in the immediate vicinity a
mobile phone is switched on, as this may affect the output of the device.
•
If you are pregnant, you should not place any electrodes directly over the
ES
uterus or on the belly. The reason is that the heart of the foetus may be
affected (so far there are no medical reports of damage).
•
Simultaneous connection of a PATIENT to a high frequency surgical
NL
device may result in burns at the site of the STIMULATOR electrodes and
possible damage to the STIMULATOR.
•
Operation in close proximity to a shortwave or microwave therapy
RU
device may produce instability in the STIMULATOR output.
•
Application of electrodes near the thorax may increase the risk of cardiac
fibrillation.
PL
Warnings when using a Vaginal / anal probe
•
Pregnant women should not be treated in the area of the uterus.
SE
•
People with extra-urethral incontinence (fistula, ectopic urethra) may
not be treated with a probe.
•
People with over-sized incontinence should not be treated with a
FI
probe due to a closure.
•
People with severe urinary retention in the upper urinary tract should
not be treated with a probe.
CAUTIONS / CONTRAINDICATIONS
•
People with complete peripheral denervation of the pelvic floor
should not be treated with a probe due to a closure.
•
People with total or partial prolapsed uterus / vagina should be
treated with extreme caution.
•
People with urinary tract infections need to contact their doctor before
starting with the treatment.
•
If skin irritation develops, treatment should be temporarily interrupted.
If problems persist, consult your doctor. Hypersensitivity may occur in
individual cases. The problem usually disappears when probes or gel
is exchanged for a different type.

Precautions
•
TENS is not a substitute for pain medications and other pain
management therapies.
•
TENS devices have no curative value.
•
TENS is a symptomatic treatment and, as such, suppresses the
sensation of pain that would otherwise serve as a protective
mechanism.
•
The success of the therapy depends to a considerable extent on the
patient's choice of physician and whether they are qualified for the
treatment of patients suffering from pain.
•
The long-term effects of electrical stimulation are unknown.
•
You may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity due to the
electrical stimulation or electrical conductive medium.
•
Use caution if you have a tendency to bleed internally, such as
following an injury or fracture.
•
Consult with your physician prior to using the device after a recent
surgical procedure, because stimulation may disrupt the healing
process.
