LEATHER STRAPS
TAG Heuer genuine leather straps are crafted with the most refined materials and represent high-quality
products. Like all objects in natural skin (shoes, gloves, etc.), their lifespan varies considerably according
to the conditions in which they are worn. In particular, water, cosmetics and perspiration accelerate
the aging process. Leather absorbs humidity from your skin when you wear it regularly. Make sure to
let it breathe overnight to give it the time to dry, but never attempt to dry it using heat. A metal or a
rubber bracelet is thus better suited to activities involving frequent contact with water or moisture.
WHAT TO AVOID
Like any valuable object, your TAG Heuer watch deserves special care. It is important to protect it from
knocks by hard objects and heavy vibrations. Exposing your watch to chemicals like soap, detergents,
cosmetics and perfumes can damage your watch case or strap. Wait until creams or perfume dry
completely on your skin before wearing your watch. Also, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can
cause fading on the watch and cause the oils to dry prematurely. All TAG Heuer watches are designed
to run smoothly at temperatures ranging between 0 °C and 50 °C but important thermic shocks are to
be avoided. Magnetism can cause the spirals of the hairspring of your watch to magnetize together,
shortening the spring, thus causing inaccuracy of time measurement. We recommend not keeping your
watch close to any magnets (television, speakers, tablets, etc.) to prevent magnetism interference.
