This product complies with the Low Voltage Directive (73/23/
EEC), EMC Directives (89/336/EEC, 92/31/EEC) and CE Marking
Directive (93/68/EEC).
Thank you for buying this Pioneer product.
Please read through these operating instructions so you will
know
how to operate your model
properly. After you have
finished reading the instructions, put them away in a safe place
for future reference.
In some countries or regions, the shape of the power plug and
power outlet may sometimes differ from that shown in the
explanatory drawings. However, the method of connecting and
operating the unit is the same.
FEATURES
The A-07's design
lIn the Exclusive C7 and A-09, Pioneer used a laterally symmetrical
twin
monaural
construction
to deliver a sound
field with
exceptional stereo imaging. The A-07 integrated amplifier was
designed to provide wide range frequency response, improved
phase stability, and minimal noise in the higher frequencies. All
the A-07's features, such as its carefully selected parts, Wide
Range Linear Circuit Ver.5, and partitioned chamber construction
help to assure optimum performance.
w Laterally Symmetrical Twin Monaural Construction
As well as the A-07's internal construction, the front and rear
panel, and volume
control
layouts are also laterally
symmetrical to assure uniform current, magnetic field, and
heat distribution. This enhances stereo imaging by virtually
eliminating left and right channel performance deviations.
m Wide Range Linear Circuit Ver.5
This Wide Range Linear Circuit acquires sufficient gain
through single stage amplification using current feedback
circuitry. This circuit's highly refined design assures stable
speaker drive throughout the audio spectrum. It features a
new output stage (Cross Array Power Stage) for exceptional
power
linearity and temperature
stability,
high range
frequency response, and phase characteristics, while noise
in the higher frequencies is minimal. And because the output
choke coil and phase compensation
capacitor required in
conventional
circuitry to maintain stability have been
completely
eliminated,
it provides
pure,
uncolored
amplification.

mw Chamber construction
In addition to the laterally symmetrical construction, each
block is separated by frames into chambers. Thanks to this
design, the amplification, power supply, and control sections
are shielded from each other, thereby eliminating mutual
interference.
For improved electrical stability, the amplifier's reference
point, ground, is centered within a radiating pattern of RCA
phono jacks.
The Aero-Wing heat sink assures efficient dispersion of both
heat and vibrations.
m@ Gain Selector
Convenient for listening at low volume, this lets you switch
amplifier gain for optimum results with the output level of
the source equipment. For listening at low volume or when
using high-efficiency (high-sensitivity) speakers, set to the
26 dB position to improve S/N ratio and permit fine adjustment
of volume.
@ Direct Construction Il
The signal selected by the switching relay immediately
downstream of the input jacks is applied to the volume and
amplification circuitry via the shortest possible route on a
single circuit board, this giving improved electrical stability
compared to our previous models in which the route taken by
the signal was longer.
m Isolated circuitry
Left and right channel circuitry, protection control circuitry,
and power supplies are completely isolated from each other.
The use of photo-couplers has also completely eliminated
current loops between circuits.
