5. Storage and Maintenance
1. Maintenance, Care and Storage:
- LOADLOK load securing tools must be inspected at least once a year by a qualified
person.
- Moving parts should kept operational. In general, moving parts of our products do not
need to be lubricated; however, if lubrication is performed, ensure that the used
greases/oils comply with a possible HACCP concept.
- Make sure the product is discard when not functional or damaged.
- Avoid using corrosive cleaners to prevent corrosion.
- When used in humid climates, ensure regular ventilation of the air to prevent premature
corrosion.
- Keep components clean, dust-free, dry and frost-free.
- Keep tools away from salts and chemicals.
- Maintenance and servicing should only be performed by the manufacturer or persons
authorized by the manufacturer.
- Any independent modification of LOADLOK load securing tools will void all warranty
claims and any product certifications.
2. Disposal:
- Products that have reached the end of their service life must be disposed of properly,
following locally applicable guidelines.
3. Packaging:
- Open the packaging carefully to avoid damaging the products.
4. Discard:
- The rubber feet of the clamping bars must have a minimum profile of 1mm.
- Visible cracks in the material.
- Noticeable deformations or dents, as well as kinks.
- Sharp edges, e.g., due to material break-offs or deformations.
- Changes in material thickness, e.g., due to abrasion or rust.
- Restricted or missing functionality.
- Missing or loose parts, such as screws, rivets, pins, nuts, Velcro straps, etc.
- Absent or illegible product labels.
