PRODUCT USER MANUAL
FREIGHTLOK KARGO KEEPER
6. Application
1. General Installation Remarks:
- All LOADLOK clamping and shoring poles are spring-loaded. A minimal spring tension
must be maintained in all driving situations. W e recommend a minimum compression of
30-50mm.
- Inspect the LOADLOK load securing tool for damage, loose parts, and correct
functionality of all force-transmitting components before each use.
- Ensure all locking levers and mechanisms are fully closed and engaged or verify their
correct positions. The use of lever extensions on tensioning elements is not allowed.
- Use outside the defined working range is not allowed.
- The maximum load securing capacity of LOADLOK clamping poles is determined under
the condition that the rubber feet are mechanically blocked. The actual securing force
depends heavily on the load capacity of the trailer body (bending/deformation) and the
factor of friction between the rubber foot and the side wall/floor. Therefore, this must
be individually determined by the user for each application and must not be exceeded.
The securing force can significantly deviate from the load securing capacity stated on
the product label depending on the application.
- The plugs of the shoring pole must fully engage and be matched in diameter to the
anchor point to ensure a snug fit.
- Rubber feet of clamping poles must have full contact and should not be clamped on
edges or similar uneven surfaces.
- Never open spring-loaded parts on the side of the spring to avoid the risk of injury.
