- Página 5 3 Beschreibung und Funktion 3.1 Verwendungszweck Die Elastic Joint-Gelenke dienen der Bewegungsführung in Orthesen für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene; sie sichern und unterstützen Gelenke bei Funktionsschwächen und –ausfällen an unterer, sowohl an oberen Extremität. Mit den Elastic Joint-Gelenken kann eine Vielzahl an Indikationen für eine Orthese berücksichtigt werden und dient der schnellen, zeit- und kostensparenden Versorgung.
- Página 6 Wenn Sie vor dem Tiefziehen einen Strumpf über das Modell ziehen möch- ten, muss dieser sehr dünn und glatt sein. Ein zu dicker Strumpf weitet die Aufnahme für das Gelenk zu sehr und verhindert eine genaue Passform. Falls gewünscht, kann während des Laminierens bzw. Tiefziehens etwas zu- sätzliches Material im Bereich der Achillessehne eingelegt werden, um einen Plantar-Stopper zu erhalten.

Ist Plantarflexion gewünscht, entfer- nen Sie Material posterior, um die gewünschte Plantarflexion zu erhalten. Benutzen Sie einen Bohrer, um die für die Gelenke notwendigen Löcher zu bohren. Für die Größen M und L benötigen Sie Löcher mit 4,5 mm Durchmesser, für die Größe S mit 4,0 mm.

- Página 27 3 Descripción y función 3.1 Uso previsto Las articulaciones Elastic Joint se utilizan para el control del movimiento en órtesis para niños, adolescentes y adultos; aseguran y sostienen las articulaciones en caso de debilidades y fallos funcionales en las extremidades inferiores y superiores. Con las articulaciones Elastic Joint, se pueden considerar una gran variedad de indicaciones para órtesis y sirve para una suministro rápido y económico.
