Insert the Elastic Joints and apply them with the enclosed screws (sizes M
and L with M4x9 screws, size S with M3,5x7). Depending on the material
thickness of the orthosis, it can be necessary to shorten the screws. The
screw may not overlap inside the orthosis. Apply Loctite 118P35 in order to
retain screw fittings.
For a correct mounting of the Elastic Joint (neutral) a gap between both
orthosis shells must be avoided, except for the anterior "V" respectively
„U"-area.

Elastic Joint Dorsiflex
Grind out in the anterior area a small
"U"-shaped area.
When plantar flexion is desired,
remove material in the posterior area
in order to obtain the wanted plantar
flexion.
Use a drill in order to obtain the ne-
cessary holes for the joints. Diameters
at 4,5 mm are needed for the sizes M
and L, for the size S please bore with
4,0 mm.
