Preparation
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device once
the device is fully prepared for use.
Control elements
Familiarise yourself with the operating ele-
ments before using the device for the first
time.
• Switch lock (1)
• Locks the on/off switch against unin-
tentional operation.
• Unlocking: Press

The grip screw (5) unlocks/locks the
angle adjustment of the auxiliary
handle (23).
• Screw sleeve (Fig. C.2)
The screw sleeve (12) unlocks/locks
the length adjustment of the telescopic
tube (13).
• Locking mechanism Motor
head (Fig. C.3)
The lock (14) unlocks/locks the posi-
tion adjustment of the motor head (16).
• Locking button (Fig. C.4)
The locking button (15) unlocks/locks
the angle adjustment of the telescopic
tube (13).
Assembly
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional start-up. Do not insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device until
the device is fully prepared for use.
Attaching the telescopic tube
1. Push the telescopic guide bar (11) and
the telescopic tube (13) together as far
as they will go.
Only one position is possible.
2. Fix both parts using the screw sleeve
(12).
Attaching the protective cover
(Fig. A)
Tools required
• Phillips screwdriver (28)
Procedure
1. Place the protective cover (17) on the
motor head (16).
2. Screw the protective cover on tightly
with the two screws (29).
