Operation
Note: The other cooking zones will continue to operate if they are previously turned on.
Using the triple zone
The function only works in the triple cooking zone.
The triple cooking zone has two cooking areas
that you can use: a center section and an outer
section. You can use the center section (A) inde-
pendently or both sections (B) or (C) at the same
time.
Set the heating power between power levels 1 and
9 (e.g. 6).
The center section of the treble cooking zone will
turn on. By touching the treble zone knob once,
section (B) operates. The firing zone indicator
shows "double lines" and " 6 " alternately.
Touching the treble zone control a second time
will activate section (C). The cooking zone indica-
tor shows "triple lines" and "6" alternately.
If cooking zone 3# works in section (B), touch the triple zone icon twice, it will return to section (A) and
the function will be deactivated.
If cooking zone 3# operates in section (C), touch the triple zone icon once, it will return to section (A) and
the zone will be deactivated.
Once the zone is deactivated, the cooking zone indicator will be displayed.
Overheating protection
The induction hob is equipped with a temperature sensor to monitor the temperature inside the
induction hob. If an excessive temperature is detected, the induction hob will automatically stop working.
Automatic shutdown
The automatic switch-off is a function designed to protect your hob. It switches off automatically if you
ever forget to turn off the cooktop. The preset operating times for various power levels are shown in the
table below:
Power level
Default working time (hours)
Note: When the pan is removed, the induction hob may stop heating immediately so the hob wil
automatically switch off after 2 minutes.
Warning! Persons with a pacemaker should consult their physician before using this equipment.
