It is your responsibility to follow these preventive measures
in order to ensure your own safety. Always operate the wood
shredder carefully and responsibly.
The wood shredder, including all accessories, may only be
used by individuals who have read the instruction manual
and are familiar with its handling. Before using the wood
shredder for the first time, must ensure they are instructed
adequately and practically. Users should be instructed by
the seller or any other qualified person on how to operate
the petrol wood shredder. The instruction manual is
considered an integral part of the wood shredder and must
always be provided alongside the product.
Familiarise yourself with the control mechanisms and how
the shredder works. The user must know how to stop the
shredder and the motor immediately in the event of an
emergency.
Do not operate the wood shredder if you are not both
physically and mentally well. Do not operate with it while
you are tired or under the influence of medication, drugs or
alcohol. If you have a health problem, ask your doctor if it
is safe for you to work with the wood shredder before doing
so.
Never allow the petrol wood shredder to be operated
by children, individuals with limited physical,
sensory or mental abilities, individuals with lack of
experience and knowledge of the machine, or others
unfamiliar with the use instructions.
The shredder has been designed for shredding branches
and trunks resulting from pruning tasks. This machine
should only be used as described in the instruction manual.
Any other use, which may be dangerous and may cause
injury to the user or damage to the equipment, is not
permitted.
For safety reasons, any alteration to the wood shredder
other than installing accessories specifically authorized by
the manufacturer, is prohibited. The warranty will be voided
if you alter it in any way.

Operating the petrol wood shredder causes a massive
load of vibrations may damage nervous and
circulatory systems, especially to whom have circulatory
disorders. Inform your doctor if any symptoms arise caused
by the vibrations. Among these symptoms, that occur
specially on fingers, hand and wrists, are also included loss
of sensation, pain, muscle weakness, skin discoloration or
tingling sensation.
Plan rest breaks while operating the petrol wood shredder
and avoid using it for long periods. Permanent vibrations
are harmful to health.
Petrol is toxic and highly flammable! Keep petrol only
in jerry cans designed and approved for this purpose.
Always screw and tighten tank caps and fuel containers.
Defective caps must be replaced.
Never use bottles or similar to remove or store service
products such as fuel. Someone, particularly children, may
be mistakenly taken to drink them.
Keep petrol away from sparks, flames, heat sources or other
ignition sources.
Do not smoke near petrol jerry cans and machines
containing petrol on the tank, or during the fuelling
process.
Refill and empty the fuel tank outdoors only. Before
refuelling, shut of the engine and let it cool down.
Petrol fuelling shall be carried out before running the
combustion engine. While the engine is running, it is not
permitted to open the tank cap or refuel.
Do not overfill the fuel tank. In order to allow space for fuel
to expand, never add fuel above the lower edge of the filler
neck. Please also observe the information in the
combustion engine operating instructions.
If petrol overflows, immediately clean any spilled fuel. The
combustion engine should only be started after the dirty
petrol surface has been cleaned.
Any attempt at ignition shall be avoided until the petrol
vapors have volatilized (dry with cloth).
If petrol was spilled over clothing, it must be changed.
