INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

USE

WARNING!
On some points of the machine there are some
adhesive plates indicating:
– DANGER
– WARNING
– CAUTION
– CONSULTATION
While reading this Manual, the Operator must take particular
note of the meaning of these symbols.
Do not cover these plates for any reason, in case of damage
replace them immediately.

BEFORE MACHINE START-UP

Brush or pad-holder installation
NOTE
Depending on the type of floor, either a brush
(18, Fig. H) or a pad-holder (19) with pad (20)
can be installed.
To simplify, the following instructions refer to
the brush only.
1.
Lift the brush-holder deck (9, Fig. C) by means of the
pedal (20, Fig. C).
2.
Position the brush (18, Fig. H) under the brush-holder.
3.
Lower the brush-holder deck (9, Fig. C) by means of the
pedal (20, Fig. C).
4.
Press the brush switch (2, Fig. B) for a few seconds to
hook the brush/pad-holder.
Squeegee installation
5.
Install the squeegee (10, Fig. C) and fix the knobs (11),
then connect the hose (25) to the squeegee.
6.
Using the knob (12, Fig. C), adjust the squeegee so that
its rear blade (14) (in all its length) touches the floor and
that the front blade (13) is slightly detached from the
floor.
Adjustments
7.
Using the handles (3), adjust the handlebar (2, Fig. C) to
reach a comfortable position.

Solution tank filling up
8.
Open the cover (2, Fig. H) of the tanks.
9.
Fill the solution tank (6, Fig. H) with an appropriate
solution for the cleaning to be carried out.
It is possible to check the solution level in the tank by
means of the marks (26, Fig. C).
Do not fill the solution tank completely and let the
solution level a few centimeters from the rim.
Always follow the dilution instructions on the label of the
chemical product used to create the solution.
The solution temperature must be under 100°F (40°C).
CAUTION!
Use only low-foam and non-flammable
solutions, appropriate for the machine.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE MACHINE

DANGER!
Before the machine start-up, check the supply
cable (23, Fig. C) carefully for any kind of
damage, such as cuts, cracks, abrasions or
wear. In case the machine shows this kind of
damages, do not use it but contact an
authorized Advance Service Center, to have
the cable replaced with an original one.
Starting the machine
1.
Prepare the machine as described in the previous
paragraph.
2.
Unroll the supply cable (23, Fig. C) and introduce the
supply plug (22, Fig. C) in the electrical mains socket.
3.
Lower the squeegee (10, Fig. C) by means of the lever
(19).
4.
Lower the brush (8, Fig. C) by means of the pedal (20).
5.
Position the solution flow control lever (4, Fig. B) in the
most appropriate position, depending on the type of
cleaning to be carried out.
6.
Keeping a hand on the handlebar (2, Fig. C), start the
machine by means of the brush and vacuum switches (2
and 3, Fig. B).
Stopping the machine
7.
Turn the brush and vacuum switches (2 and 3, Fig. B) to
"0".
8.
Disengage the supply plug (22, Fig. C) from the
electrical mains socket and roll the cable (23).
9.
Lift the brush by means of the pedal (20, Fig. C).
10. Lift the squeegee by means of the lever (19, Fig. C).
