Risk of fire
Before installing and operating the fume extraction system, please observe the following:
• The extraction of welding fume during welding of oil-wetted parts is not allowed.
• It is not allowed to install or operate the system in areas subject to dust or gas explosion hazards.
• Before putting into operation, it must be checked if the operating voltage given on the nameplate
NOTICE
• Use the fume extraction system FES-200 W3 only in areas with sufficient ventilation.
• The device is equipped with a safety device to monitor the minimum air volume flow to be extracted. A
Harmful fumes are produced during the welding process. This welding fume can be captured and filtered
by an extraction torch with welding fume filter. The filtered air is led back to the work area.
The FES-200 captures the welding fume with high vacuum directly on the source. Thanks to the permanent
filter cartridge that can be cleaned, the particles are collected in the dust collecting drawer and can then be
emptied and eliminated in the dust collecting bag.
The FES-200 can be equipped with an automatic Start-Stop system. Use the start-stop pliers to switch on
automatically the fume extraction system by fixing it to the cable assembly of the welding device.
6 Putting into operation on page EN-15
The rocker switch (2) (see 7 Operation on page EN-17) is used to switch the device on and off.

manometer is used for monitoring. The point at which the minimum volume flow is reached is marked
on the dial scale. If the manometer indicates a higher vacuum (>180mbar), the filter must be cleaned.
