MANUAL.

Turn the focus ring to achieve a
sharp focus.

To reactivate auto focusing, set
FOCUS AUTO/MANUAL to
AUTO.

• The AE lock indicator Bzb is not
displayed depending on exposure and/
or positions of subjects.
• The AE lock indicator may not be
displayed when you use your camera in
the dark place.

Recording images in
macro

Set FOCUS AUTO/MANUAL to
AUTO.

Set the zoom lever to "W" side,
and press MACRO.
The macro indicator (
on the LCD screen. You can shoot
a subject that is about 3 1/4 inches
(8 cm) away from the lens surface
in macro mode.
If you press MACRO button again,
macro mode is released and you can
record images in normal mode.
PNotes
• Your camera cannot focus when the
subject is closer than about 2 2/3 feet
(80 cm) and when you set the zoom
lever to "T" side.
• You cannot record images in macro
with following PROGRAM AE modes
(
appears on the LCD screen):
– Landscape mode
– Panfocus mode
