INSTALLATION
A qualified person must install the appliance.
During height adjustment there must be a person to support the body of the turbo-liquidiser and keep it in
position.
The turbo-liquidisers are delivered split into 2 parts (trolley and body with supporting beam).
ASSEMBLY: (See figure 1)
•
Place the supporting beam G perpendicular to the body D by releasing the rotation locking lever F, turning it counter-
clockwise and then relocking it by turning it clockwise.
•
Remove the height adjusting screw M
•
Insert the supporting beam G into the trolley A
•
Adjust the height of the turbo-liquidiser so that it works in a horizontal position and the guard ring is at a distance
between 50 and 150mm inclusive from the bottom of the pan (see figure 4)
•
Lock the position of the supporting beam G by inserting the height adjusting screw M into one of the holes provided.
•
Adjust the safety microswitch as described in section 6.2

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Ensure that the mains voltage to which the appliance will be connected corresponds to the value given on the rating plate.
The installation must be protected by a circuit breaker and a phase fuse as indicated in column E of the specifications.
Three-phase motor 230/400V - 1 speed:
•
Ensure that there is a standard 20 A wall socket with 3 pins + earth and a corresponding sealed plug to be fitted onto
the power cable.
Check the direction of rotation of the blade: with the help of the arrow marked on the upper part of the mixing head
•
(counter-clockwise direction). If the direction of rotation is reversed, change over the 2 phase wires in the plug.
The single-speed appliances (TBF 141) are always connected at the higher voltage (400 V); to change to the lower voltage
(230 V) proceed as follows:
1.
disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply
2.
remove the motor casing
3.
change the jumper JP1 on the board from 400V to 230V
4.
change the position of the bars on the motor terminal block
5.
reassemble the appliance proceeding in the reverse order to above.
Only qualified persons must carry out procedures for changing the speed.
THE INSTALLATION MUST BE EARTHED BY CONNECTING THE GREEN / YELLOW WIRE
Three-phase motor 400V - 2 speeds:
The two-speed appliances (TBF 140) cannot be changed to another voltage.
THE INSTALLATION MUST BE EARTHED BY CONNECTING THE GREEN / YELLOW WIRE

LIMITATIONS OF USE
There are no particular limitations of the appliance with regard to the use for which it has been designed.
2.7
DISPOSAL
When scrapping the appliance, it must be separated into parts according to the constituent materials and each part disposed
of in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in force in the country where the appliance is to be scrapped.
The machine parts should present no particular problems regarding disposal.
