Placing and Connecting the Base Station
1. Close the cover of the Base
Station
2. Connect the Perimeter Wire
connector to the Base Station
board.
3. Before securing the Power Supply cord to the Base Station, ca-
refully lay the length of the cord out, beginning from the Base
Station and leading to the main power supply and insure it is fas-
tened securely to the ground and does not present a tripping ha-
zard.

Attention!
Do not cross it over surfaces where it cannot be fastened,
such as sidewalks or driveways.
z For ultimate protection, consider an underground place-
ment within a protective conduit.
4. Connect the Power Supply
cord to the Base Station board.

5. Route the Power Supply cord
into the Base Station cover.
6. Close the cover of the Base
Station; confirm it is locked
well in its place.
7. Align the Base Station on the
Perimeter Wire, so the wire is
aligned with the two central li-
nes marked at the front and
rear side of the Base Station.

Attention!
Do not fasten the Base Sta-
tion yet, as you will want to
check its final position first.
8. Connect the power supply to a regular household receptacle
230 Volts AC.

Note
z A small flashing green
light in the Base Station
cover indicates the sys-
tem is on and functioning
properly.
z Continuous beeps indica-
te a disconnected/broken
perimeter wire.
z Discontinuous beeps indi-
cate poor splicing of peri-
meter wires or perimeter
wire, which is too long (the
max allowed in one loop is
500 meters).
