USE a brush for cleaning to PERFORM the cleaning inside of the ma-
chine, when it is disassembled;

AVOID the use of solvents for cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are
susceptible to damage from various commercial solvents.USE clean rags to
remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.;

LUBRICATE Cylinder of Guide from time to time with lubricating oil.
This will prolong the life of the cylinder.
To avoid serious injury, ALWAYS REMOVE
the Battery from the machine to cleaning or
maintenance.
During maintenance, USE only original parts.
Non-original parts can cause risk of accidents
and damages to the product. In order to ensure
safety and reliability, all repairs shall be carried
out by a company accredited by Starrett.

The machine can be cleaned more effectively with dry
compressed air. However, it is mandatory ALWAYS USE safety
glasses this cleaning process;
