The remote display consists of illuminated indicators. It may therefore be consulted in the
dark. When the RS-60 is disconnected from the mains, the display goes out and ceases to
show information.

3.1.2 The DL100 giant remote display
The DL100 remote display may be connected to the RS-60 front panel. This display allows
you to observe the sound level pressure measured by the RS-60.
3.1.3 The REL-2 relay box
The REL-2 relay box has two relays, one corresponding to the pre-alarm situation and the
other to the alarm situation. When the sound pressure level measured by the sensor
(equivalent continuous level corresponding to the evaluation time) exceeds either the pre-
alarm or alarm limit, the corresponding relay switches during a switching time of between 1
and 180 seconds, and may activate or deactivate any kind of electrical signal (220 V / 1 A).
Different switching times may be programmed for pre-alarm and alarm situations. The alarm
relay always has priority over the pre-alarm relay.
