4. DATA RETRIEVAL

As noted in chapter 2, the data stored in the RS-60 may be retrieved in written form by using
a parallel printer.
To obtain this data, all you have to do is connect a parallel printer to the printer port on the
RS-60 front panel. The RS-60 will immediately print out the registers corresponding to the
print mode programmed in the RS-60.
The print modes differ in terms of the kind of registers they print and of when they print them.
Available modes are the following:
Continuous printing: prints a register each time it is recorded in the memory (at the end of
each measurement period of the LeqT parameter).
Total report printing: prints all the registers contained in the memory each time a printer is
connected. All the registers will be printed, from the most recent to the earliest.
Sensor inactive report printing: each time the printer is connected, prints all the available
registers in which a sensor error has been detected.
Level exceeded report printing: each time a printer is connected, prints all the registers in
which the average equivalent level has exceeded the programmed alarm limit.
For each register the following information will be printed:
Date and time of the beginning of the interval
Date and time of the end of the interval
The equivalent continuous level in the (LeqT) interval measured with the frequency
weighting (A or C) chosen in the programming
The sound pressure level corresponding to the alarm limit
The value of the parameter chosen for the programming (Max LS: maximum SLOW
level of the interval or Max LF: maximum FAST level of the interval)
Indication of incidents: (
) Alarm limit exceeded and ( ) Overload.
