Set Time
1. From the Date/Time Menu, select and ENTER Set Time (Fig. 25).

4. Press the F1 OK soft key to save setting and return to Date/Time Menu (Fig. 28).

Recharging the Battery
Fully charge the battery prior to using it for the first time.
Charging time is 4 hours, but note that charging time will vary
depending on temperature and battery condition.
Fully recharge the battery before starting a long recording.
The battery symbol will flash when the battery is too low for
reliable operation. Recharge the battery as soon as this occurs.

(Charger will operate on AC voltage from 100 to 240V 50/60Hz).
4. The meter will display an image of a charging battery.
When the battery is fully charged,

WARNING:
Rotary switch must be in off ( ) position during charging or damage to meter
may occur.
NOTE: Battery will not charge if fuse is blown. If battery charge indicator does not appear when
connecting charger, check the 800mA fuse. Refer to Page 29 in the manual for proper fuse replacement.
WARNING:
Use only Southwire 60155R or 60157R charger to recharge the battery.
Recharging the battery with any other charger could result in damage to the battery.
Technical Measures/Precautions
1. Do not short (+) or (-) battery terminals with conductors.
2. Do not open the battery module.
3. Do not expose the battery to water or humidity (avoid water condensation).
4. Do not expose to heat, solder or throw into fire.
5. Immediately disconnect the batteries if, during operation, it emits an unusual smell, develops heat,
changes shape/geometry, or behaves abnormally. Contact the manufacturer if any of these problems
are observed.

Do not mix these batteries with the solid waste stream.

qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler. If you are unsure of how to properly dispose of this
