Cleaning
After each workshift the machine has to be cleaned. Remove metal chips etc. with a suitable
tool. Do not remove them by hand (cutting injury!). Remove metal dust as well.
Clean the machine surface with a wet cloth soaked in a milde solution
The usage of certain solutions containing ingredients damaging metal surfaces as
well as the use of scrubbing agents will damage the machine surface!

Servicing
5.2.1
Saw blade change (Fig. D)
Remove the saw blade protection cover by loosening and removing all screws S.
Loosen the saw band with the spoke wheel H entirely.
Now remove cautiously the old saw band. Use cutting proof gloves.
Install the new saw blade. Insert it first through both saw blade guide bearings and
then lay them onto the flywheels U.
ATTENTION: Take care to install the saw band correctly! Check the direction of the
teething.
Tension the saw band with spoke wheel H.
You can check the tension by applying in the middle of the free blade section a pres-
sure of approx. 50NM on the blade side. The blade is tensioned correctly, if it can be
moved 3mm sidewards out of the straight cutting line.
Turn by hand a flywheel and check the saw band for straight
run!
5.2.2
Adjust saw blade guides
The numbers indicated in () refer tot he numbers in the exploded
drawing at the end of this manual.
Loosen the nut and unscrew the dowel (80), to increase the gap
between blade and bearings.
Then adjust the upper bearing (79) so that approx. 0.2-0.3mm
gao remains between blade and upper bearing. If necessary
loosen the screws of the arm (74).
In order to adjust the pair of side bearings (78) act on the dowel
(80) so that the bearings rest on the blade.
Then loosen it as nuch as it is necessary to let the blade slide, by
leaving a gap of approx. 0.04mm.
Tighten the nuts!
ATTENTION: Make sure to always assemble 0.9mm thick blades!
