Adding detergent

The machine is equipped with two
detergent containers. Depending on use
and detergent needed, the feed can be
changed between the two containers
during operation.
The filling level of each container can be
read through the recesses in the
housing.
If high-pressure hose extensions are
connected, it is impossible to draw in
detergent from the detergent container.
Detergent can only be drawn into the
machine in low-pressure operation.
Preparing the machine

Fill the respective detergent
N
container A or B with STIHL
detergent diluted as specified
RE 362, RE 362 PLUS, RE 462, RE 462 PLUS
Turn sleeve as far as possible in the
N
direction of the arrow (low-pressure
operation)
Move the setting lever to the default
N
position: Maximum working
pressure and water flow rate
Using detergent from a separate
container
A
Unscrew the cap with intake hose
N
from the detergent container
Screw the cap with intake hose onto
N
a separate detergent container
The cap has a standard thread and fits
all standard detergent containers.
Slide the intake hose as far as
N
possible into the detergent
container
Setting the dosage
Select the detergent container
N
Detergent metering knob at setting
–
A = left container
Detergent metering knob at setting
–
B = right container
Set the dosage (possible
N
adjustment range 0% - 6%)
During use, always apply the
N
detergent from the bottom upwards
Detergent must not be allowed to dry on
the object to be cleaned.
If detergent is no longer to be added:
Set detergent metering knob to 0
N
Let the high-pressure cleaner
N
continue to run with the spray gun
open until no more detergent comes
out of the nozzle
