4.11. Push handles
•
The Triton push handle can be continuously adjusted upward by
17 cm.
•
Loosen the plastic screws to the rear on the back tube.
•
Adjust the push handle to the desired height and tighten the socket

head screws again.
•
At the crossbar between the handles, you will find the release lever
to adjust the seat and backrest angle (Fig. 24).
4.12. Trunk support pads
•
The height, width and angle of the side of the Triton's trunk support
pads can be adjusted.

Loosen the upper plastic screws at the back (Fig. 25).
•
Position the trunk support pads at the desired height and width of
the chest.
•
Re-tighten the plastic screw.
•
You can adjust the angle by pulling the trunk support pad upward
until the teeth are disengaged. (Fig. 26).
•
Position the trunk support pads at the desired angle to the chest.
•
Release the trunk support pad again; it will click into place

automatically.
•
In order to remove the pad, hold the button pushed in and pull the
pad forwards out of the bracket (Fig. 27).
4.13. Tip protection
•
The anti-tipping protectors prevent the wheelchair from tipping over
backwards There must be a gap of 3-5 cm between the anti-tip

wheels and the ground.
•
It is highly recommended that the anti-tippers be used when
the wheelchair is being operated by inexperienced users or by
wheelchair users with an amputated leg.

•
The anti-tippers are attached as a pair to the right-hand and
lefthand sides of the frame.
•
The height of the anti-tippers can be adjusted.
•
Pull the metal disc backwards and slide the anti-tipper into the
desired position (Fig. 28).
•
Release the disc once again.
•
The wheel will now click firmly into place in the next possible
position.
Always use the anti-tip wheels in pairs.
4.14. Head rest
•
The Triton wheelchair is equipped with a headrest; its angle, height
and depth can be adjusted. (Abb. 29).
•
Pull the locking mechanism on the backrest out (Fig. 30).
•
Position the headrest at the desired height and then let go of the
locking mechanism.
•
The slide bar will snap into place in the next possible position.
•
With the help of the quick-release lever in the neck and head area of
the headrest, the depth and angle of the headrest can be adjusted
(Fig. 31).
•
Release the screw connection by pulling the lever upward.
•
Position the headrest at the required depth.
•
Re-tighten the screw connection with the help of the lever.
•
In order to bring the lever to another position without loosening the
screw, pull the lever to the side; it can therefore be adjusted without
moving the screw.
