1. Functionality
The Marten Free Indoor LED device generates sounds in the frequency range between
12 and 23 kHz at intervals of 15 seconds on and off. Additionally it generates 4 seconds
of flash light every 30 seconds. The sounds and light are most irritating to martens and
cats. The irritation is so disturbing and uncomfortable that they will soon leave the pro-
tected area and stay away. Marten Free Indoor LED is recommended for attics, garages,
stables and barnes. It is also effective against mice, rats and other rodents.
2. Getting Started
The device is simply plugged into a 230 V mains socket and is immediately ready for
operation. The flashing of the light confirms that the device is running. The sound is
emitted in a direct line from the device. It should not be placed behind curtains or furni-
ture that could absorb the sound, making it less effective. Make sure that the device is
placed in the immediate vicinity of the area that is to be protected.
