4. Safety Instructions
Note: Damage caused by not adhering to the operating instructions is not covered by
guarantee. Gardigo accepts no liability whatsoever for any resulting consequent da-
mages.
• For safety and certification reasons (CE) the unauthorised conversion and/or modi-
fication of the product is not permitted. This will void the warranty/guarantee.
• Only operate the device at its intended voltage.
• In case of repairs, only use original spare parts, to avoid serious damage.
• Check feed cables and conducting cables connected to the device for breaks or insu-
lation defects. If you find a defect, or there is visible damage do not use the device.
• Repairs or other works, e.g. changing a fuse, etc. may only be carried out by an appro-
priately trained, skilled person.
• It must be noted that operator or connecting errors lie outside the influence of Gar-
digo and we cannot accept any liability for resulting damages.
• Always check whether the device is suitable for the respective place where you in-
tend using it.
• This device is not designed to be used by persons (including children under 8 years)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience or know-
ledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed in using the device by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never hold the device directly to your ear. Humans cannot hear ultrasonic frequenci-
es, but they might the device emits at a high volume and then therefore it might be
harmful, if the ear is exposed to them over a longer period.
