Keep these operating instructions near the machine. This will allow your operating personnel easy
access to information at any time, and will enable them to take the appropriate action should any
technical malfunctions occur.

GENERAL

A chafing dish can be used to keep all kinds of food hot. If the correct temperature is selected, the
food will retain its consistency and appearance.
The chafing dish works by keeping the food hot indirectly over a water bath.
All WMF chafing dishes (except for those with permanent heating) can be heated by either paste
burners or electrically. Depending on the model, different heating elements are used (see Data
Sheet on last page of Operator's Manual).
Due to the difference in temperature between the inside and the outside of the lid, condensation
will inevitably form. All WMF chafing dishes are therefore fitted with a channel to collect
condensation and return it to the water bath tank.
