FOR YOUR SAFETY

GENERAL
- Only connect the machine to a correctly
installed socket with mains voltage
corresponding to the machine technical data
(see rating plate and Operator's Manual for
details).
- Never use the machine if the machine or
power lead shows visible damage.
- When shutting down, always ensure that the
main power switch is off and/or the plug is
removed from the power socket.
- Remove the plug from the power socket if
the machine is out of use for an extended
period, if malfunctions occur or before
cleaning the machine.
- Machines with electrical components should
never be placed under running water or
immersed in water.
- Keep power lead away from sources of heat.
REGULATIONS
This machine complies with all the relevant
regulations including, in Germany, VGB 4
(electrical plant and equipment occupational
accident insurance regulations).
 Hot plates can only be used in conjunction with chafing dishes. They cannot be used as a
stand-alone heater because they do not have a suitable base for that purpose and could
therefore damage the surface underneath. We will not be liable for any damage caused in
this way.

Do not use the hot plate as a space heater. Incorrect use invalidates the warranty.

Never use the heating elements without the appropriate chafing dish water tank.

Never use the chafing dish without water.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that
electrical plant and equipment is inspected
and tested and is in full working order
(VGB4, §5)
MEASURES TO PREVENT CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGE
Any technical device is a potential source of
danger, especially when operated without
supervision.
We therefore recommend that the operator
take appropriate action to prevent damage.
