Use

WARNING!
For the correct functioning of the tools, set the compressor pressure scrupulously following the instructions on
the label applied to each pneumatic olive harvester, and to the table (See par. 3.6).
Higher pressures can cause breakage or increased wear.
Wear goggles or a visor, safety shoes and anti-vibration gloves and a noise-abatement headset (picture G).
The work position must be stable and safe.
Use the tool just for the aims indicated in "Product Description". Any other kind of use may cause injuries.
When the tool is connected to the air supply, but it is not being used, make sure the safety catch (23) on the handle (25)
automatically engages itself.
If a telescopic extension pole (36) is being used, make sure that the clamp (37) is holding it firmly before starting work.
Always check that the safety devices are perfectly efficient.
Always hold the tool with both hands and make sure you are in a stable and safe work position.
The operator will become very tired using the tool for long periods. For this reason it is recommended that the operators
swap shifts regularly and each person uses the tool each day only for a short time.
2.4

Maintenance

WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment, wear
protective shoes, gloves and goggles.
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
Only service mechanics are authorised to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance is
to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices shall be acti-
vated as soon as the maintenance operations have been completed.
Before any maintenance operations or mechanical adjustments are carried out, switch the tool off.
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at an Authorised Service Point of the
Manufacturer.
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorised by the
service mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
-
work has been completed;
-
the machine runs in a trouble-free way;
-
the safety devices are activated;
-
no one is working on the machine.
3.1

Product identification

The tool identification details are indicated on the CE sticker (4).
3.2

Product description

The tool is a pneumatic harvester for olives and other kinds of fruit.
The vibration of the rakes (2) is transmitted to the tree branches, detaching its products.
The tool is mounted on an ergonomically designed extension pole handle (25), available in different lengths, with a handle
that allows it to be conveniently used from the ground.
